About the spot

The southern side of Grevelingendam faces the tidal Oosterschelde. Its small launch and riding area are mainly usable around high water, with westerly through southerly winds matching the local orientation.

The yellow-marked zone is limited, and protected habitat to the west remains closed. A rejected expansion does not provide extra riding space. Even where shallow, this venue requires tide planning. Conditions differ from the non-tidal Grevelingen lake on the northern side of the dam.
