About the spot

Katwijk is a North Sea venue for experienced freeriders and wave riders. Deep water, breaking surf and changing coastal currents shape the conditions. Beginners should enter only through suitable instruction.

From 1 April to 1 October, access operates through local clubs: Skuytevaert in the south, KBS in the central section and Airtime in the north. Membership or day access and the required club vest form part of the arrangements. Local zoning and safe launch spacing still matter outside this season.
