About the spot

Kornwerderzand is a summer venue with some shallower margins but predominantly deep riding water. Its constrained dike access demands careful preparation. Much of the area is beyond standing depth and requires independent riding skills.

Rig on the grass, then launch from the beach below or from the water. Never fly the kite above the dike: the A7 road is immediately behind it. Locks, a shipping channel and protected habitat to the east further restrict usable space.
