About the spot

Muiderberg has an extensive shallow approach suitable for freeriding and instruction in appropriate winds. Depth increases farther out, while summer weed can obstruct longer fins and hydrofoils.

The small launch becomes crowded, and trees add gusts near shore. Launch towards the water and keep outside the separated swimming area. Shells underfoot make footwear useful. The combination of a confined shore and numerous learners requires careful spacing, despite the apparent freedom offered by the broad shallows.
