About the spot

Ouddorp is an exposed wave venue with kite areas between beach accesses 9 and 7. Strong ebb flow and larger waves can develop near Iloon at access 9. High tide also reduces the room available for launching and landing.

Partly submerged groynes lie between accesses 8 and 7. Riders need experience with surf, currents and obstacles, even when the shoreline initially looks calm. Offshore sandbanks used by seals are not permitted places to stop or land.
