About the spot

Paulinapolder is a tidal Westerschelde venue for experienced riders. Usable depth is mainly available around high tide and the adjoining hours. The small grass launch leaves little margin for handling mistakes.

Strong currents and nearby commercial traffic matter more than an often flat-looking surface. The shipping channel is off limits. Check the return route, remaining depth and landing option before launching; being close to the bank does not by itself guarantee an easy recovery.
