About the spot

Rockanje's central bathing beach becomes a kite area outside the swimming season. Offshore banks reduce waves but do not provide continuous standing depth. Reliable waterstarts and a controlled return remain necessary.

NKV's short season listing conflicts with local lifeguard guidance for April. This entry therefore uses October–March conservatively; from April, plan around the separate sports beaches. South and southeast winds can carry riders offshore. The distant sandbank is outside the permitted area.
