About the spot

At Slag Beukel, the kite zone lies roughly 300 metres left of the beach entrance. The exposed shoreline deepens quickly, with shorebreak and strong coastal flow requiring experience. Hidden groynes to the north add obstacles.

Southwesterly airflow can be gusty, while winds from south through east introduce unsuitable offshore components. Compare the available launch and return route with the tide before riding. NSS club facilities do not remove the open-sea skills required at this beach.
