About the spot

Groene Strand faces the Wadden Sea and is generally used for roughly three hours either side of high tide. Depth can reach around two metres, so the flat appearance does not imply standing water everywhere.

Strong flow and a narrowing high-tide beach require a planned return. The yellow marker beside the shipping channel and the western red boundary limit the riding area. Southerly winds suit the orientation; drifting conditions or excursions into the channel do not.
