About the spot

Oesterdam can provide pleasant freeriding in shallower water, but its launch beach disappears around high tide. Roughly two hours before to two hours after high water, the necessary sand area is unavailable. Launching on the dike beside the road is no substitute.

Sharp oysters and shells make footwear essential. Launch towards the water and remain within the yellow-buoy zone. Discussions about relocation or closure do not themselves establish a different authorised riding area.
