About the spot

Workum offers broad shallows for lessons, freeriding and freestyle. Depth increases beyond sandbanks, while foils need adequate clearance. Good winds attract many schools and independent riders to the same bounded area.

Launch at the water rather than on the field. Keep out of swimming and neighbouring protected areas. NKV currently warns about works and sand pipes: maintain distance and never jump over them. Do not ride or jump within 60 metres of shore; follow present markers defining usable water.
