About the spot

Sola offers shallow water and often smaller waves than exposed Jæren beaches. Southwest and northwest are preferred; direct west makes returning harder for beginners.

The club guide identifies each access. Current water conditions, landing space and other beach users determine whether a session is suitable.

An exceptionally demanding specialist spot for pro-level riders. Extreme spot hazards require precise control, local knowledge and agreed safety support.
