About the spot

Consolação lies south of Peniche. The sandy section north of the village is distinct from the rocky headland coast. Kite use is reported, but this does not establish suitability along every section or at the neighbouring Supertubos break.

The exposed Atlantic brings waves and current, while rocks leave limited room for mistakes. This entry is therefore a conditional option for experienced wave kiters with local knowledge. It is not a recommendation for beginners, heavy surf or an improvised launch among surfers.
