About the spot

Rerik’s lagoon side has a kite school offering supervised lessons in shallow Salzhaff. This sheltered water differs fundamentally from the town’s exposed Baltic beach. The marker identifies the Am Haff centre area, not an unrestricted seafront launch.

Agree teaching areas and independent access with the centre before riding. Avoid boats, bathing sections and protected shores. Low water may prevent jumping or foiling despite the large area; keep independent riding separate from lessons.
