About the spot

H2O Beach in northern Mamaia is an established kite teaching location. Sand slopes into initially shallower water; the open Black Sea develops chop and small waves as wind builds. Suitable conditions support lessons and independent sessions, without authorising the entire resort beach.

Swimmers, jetskis and other watersports users are important summer considerations. Ask the centre for the current kite corridor and keep the return through surf clear. Light summer breezes do not guarantee strong wind; follow the station’s assessment when the angle or beach occupancy is unfavourable.
