About the spot

The Svetilnik lighthouse area is a bora venue with deep water, chop and waves in stronger wind. Grass and stones meet hard shore, rocks and concrete. Available space is small and requires controlled assisted launches.

Summer swimmers and sunbathers can occupy the entire area. This is consequently not a general beginner or summer beach. Experienced kiters need a clear, locally confirmed launch and awareness of nearshore obstacles. Stay ashore when bathing crowds or uncontrollable gusts remove the necessary margin.
