About the spot
Aydıncık is on the southern sea side of the salt lake in southeastern Gökçeada. Northerly wind can make the surface look smoother because it blows offshore. That is the main limitation: without effective boat support, riders risk drifting away from the beach.
Southerly systems change the exposure and bring more waves. Swimmers and windsurfers share the broad sand, so confirm the current kite section. The salt lake is excluded; older reports note restrictions there. Beginners should choose an appropriately exposed, supervised venue on the other side.
Access & local notes
No unsupported riding in offshore northerlies; stay out of the salt lake and confirm the daily zone.
