About the spot

Warnemünde has a staffed watersports section on the open Baltic shore. Westerly through northeasterly winds bring chop or waves depending on strength. Riding takes place beyond the swimming zone, while rigging space is tighter than the wide beach suggests.

Summer crowds make zoning essential. Agree the current kite entry with the centre and avoid shipping lanes, swimmers and other water users. Ferry traffic is no reason to approach the harbour entrance.
